Are your snacks kosher?

Yes, all of our snacks are certified kosher by the Orthodox Union.

Are your snacks gluten-free, why doesn’t it say so on the bag?

All of our snacks except for CHAOS, Honey Wheat Pretzels, Veggie Tubes and Tubes are Gluten Free. Since gluten is used on other snacks at the plant, we do not put it on our bags. They run our snacks first, thoroughly clean the machines between runs, and train all the employees on allergen control to reduce the possibility of cross contamination. However, we cannot 100% guarantee that there can never be a cross-contamination.

Are your snacks GMO free?

We only use ingredients that do not use GMO’s. Since we cannot guarantee that GMO’s have not crossed from one field into the fields for our ingredients, we choose not to put “GMO Free” on our snacks because accuracy in labeling is very important to us.

Is the Oil Hydrogenated or non-hydrogenated?

The oils used in Roberts products are Non-hydrogenated.

Why does one bag say canola oil and another says rice oil?

It depends on when the snack was made, but the bags should correctly reflect the type of oil used on that particular batch.

What is nutritional yeast?

A yeast that grows on molasses, which has higher amounts of B vitamins. It has a cheese-like flavor without using any dairy products.

How long are your snacks good for?

Most of our products are good for 6 months from the date of manufacture, some are good for 9 months. The expiration date should be easily visible on the back of the bag on the right hand side. We do not recommend that you eat the snacks past their sell-by date since they do not contain preservatives.
